Kleine Scheidegg Loop

Even the ascent to Kleine Scheidegg takes you right past the foot of the famous north face of the Eiger. From there, the route descends almost 1,400 metres in altitude into the Lauterbrunnen Valley – passing Wengen, which is the perfect spot for a short break.

Mountainbike-Kodex

  1. Show respect: Say hello and thank you, and give way to pedestrians.
  2. Protect yourself: Wear a helmet, goggles, gloves and other protective gear. Service your bike regularly.
  3. Stay on the path: Respect road closures and riding bans; do not take shortcuts.
  4. Look after the environment: Be considerate of animals and plants. Close gates behind you.
  5. Leave no trace: Avoid getting your wheels stuck and take your rubbish with you.
  6. Know your limits: Ride with concentration and anticipate what’s ahead; adjust your speed to the situation and your ability.
