Rental
No sledge? No problem!
Don’t have a sledge with you? No problem! At these sports shops in Wengen, you can hire a sledge for a small fee – and then the winter fun can begin. It’s best to check in advance whether hire is available on site. On your sledges, get set, go!
Safety
Lively, yet safe
Sledging is great fun and requires no special prior experience. With the right preparation, your run down the slope will be a safe winter experience.
Wear waterproof shoes with a good tread, as well as warm, weatherproof clothing and gloves.
A helmet is an absolute must. It protects you in the event of a fall and gives you peace of mind whilst cycling.
You don’t necessarily need to bring provisions: there are plenty of huts along the way where you can warm up, have a cup of tea or enjoy a fondue.
