Essential equipment
A climbing harness, a via ferrata set, a climbing helmet, a sling and screw-lock carabiners, a climbing rucksack and suitable footwear.

Always remain attached to the safety rope using a carabiner.

To tackle the via ferrata safely, you need to be fit and have a head for heights. The right equipment and knowledge of how to behave in the mountains are also essential.
Only set out on the route in safe weather conditions; never in wet or foggy conditions. If you are inexperienced, it is advisable to tackle the via ferrata accompanied by a mountain guide.

Schwarzhorn via ferrata

The Schwarzhorn via ferrata combines a mountain hike with stunning views and varied climbing sections. From the First mountain station, the long approach leads through an impressive high-mountain landscape to the Grosse Chrinne. The route then continues upwards to the summit via wire ropes, rock steps and several exposed ladders. At the top, a magnificent panoramic view of the Bernese Alps awaits.
